Some people have overcome the bad weather, or their hate of busy gyms by creating their own specialised gym in their garage. For some, it’s as simple as clearing a space and installing a quick release bike trainer, connecting your bike and training can begin. For others, fitness is a way of life and they fully convert their garage. Here is an example of what you can do with a little imagination and a bit more money.
· suit the size of your garage
· your budget
· your sport
· your training needs/likes
· your level of DIY capability
There is a great board on Pinterest called Garage Gym Inspirations that will help give you that final push to get motivated. I will be looking out for you at the next Commonwealth Games!
Finally, don’t waste your money on any of this unless your garage is in good condition and has a good, solid, weatherproof roof. This is where I can help. Please get in touch with me, Paul Mclean for garage advice and a no obligation quote, either by phone or email.
